I am currently working on a series of mixed media encaustics inside of drawers, containing parts found and inspired by living in Jingletown. The drawers hold the content of the old industry and new luxury of my neighborhood, surrounded by the estuary and the 880. In making these pieces I am able to express the experience of being here, observing change and participating in the present state of the city.
